Many bloggers write a draft in one tool, copy it into another, fix the formatting, then publish. Each hand-off is a place where text gets lost or changed.
Blogsitefy is built around a shorter path. You write where you already write, in Google Docs, and publish to your own domain from there.

Step 1: Import
Write your post in Google Docs and copy its Share link. In the Blogsitefy dashboard, click Create New Post (top right), or Add Post under Posts. Choose Import from Google Docs. In the Import from Google Docs URL dialog, paste the link and click Import. You may be asked to sign in to your Google account.
Step 2: Edit
Your content appears in the post editor. Check the title, text, images and links, and make any final changes there. Read the publishing help guide.
Step 3: Publish settings
Set the category, author, featured image, post URL (slug), publish date and excerpt. Advanced settings cover tags, meta data and social cards. Review the publication controls before confirming. Choose a future date and time if you want to schedule, and check the timezone shown. Publish only when you are ready for the post to go live or be queued.
Step 4: Dashboard
Open Posts to see your published posts, plus Draft, Scheduled and Bulk Publish tabs. Click any post to view or edit it.
Why write in Google Docs at all?
You may already use it, so there is nothing new to learn.
Your drafts stay in a document you wrote, separate from where they are published.
Download a copy of important posts now and then so you hold one outside any account.
Who this suits
It suits people who write regularly and want their blog on their own address, without learning a complicated publishing tool. If you need heavy design control or a store, check that it fits before you decide. To publish on your own address, link your domain first: in Settings, General, Blog Address, click Link Custom Domain and follow the DNS setup it shows. Wait until DNS and HTTPS are confirmed working before sending readers to the new address.
Frequently asked questions
Not to write and publish. Linking a custom domain means adding a DNS record at your registrar, and the dashboard shows the details to enter.
You can still try the walkthrough on the Blogsitefy homepage to see whether the flow suits you.
Plans start at $99/year and include 7 days free and a 30-day plan refund.
