The Cost of Staying Independent... Why I'm Selling 12 Premium Domains to Fund Blogsitefy

Day 300+ of Blogsitefy. $0 in the bank. 2 active paying users. Here's why I'm liquidating 12 premium domains to stay independent and keep building.

A founder at his desk making the hard choice to liquidate domain assets instead of taking venture capital to fund his creator platform. A moment of bootstrap clarity and commitment.

Day 300+ of Blogsitefy.

I have $0 in my bank account.

I have 2 active paying users.

And I'm still here. Still building.

A month ago, that would have sounded naive. Today, it sounds like the only real option.

Here's why I'm liquidating 12 premium domains to fund January 2026 and beyond...

The Wrong Way to Bootstrap (Spoiler: It's What Most Do)

When venture capitalists talk about bootstrapping, they're really talking about stealth mode... waiting until you hit traction... then taking investment and scaling.

That's not bootstrapping. That's playing the lottery.

Real bootstrapping means working backwards from a single customer and asking... "How do I stay true to this person's needs... while keeping the lights on?"

One of my two active customer’s names is Eugena. She uses Blogsitefy because she was scared. Scared of another platform shutting down and taking her audience with her.

She subscribed to Blogsitefy... not because it's perfect... but because she trusts the mission.

That trust is my north star.

The Hard Decision

I own 12 premium domains. Together, they represent thousands of dollars in potential monthly revenue if I monetized them:

- liquafy.com

- departum.com

- abstainment.com

- bivaya.com

- aulut.com

- tilob.com

- seggae.com

- bisakol.com

- agelica.com

- dijori.com

- aulgoo.com

- atoningly.com

But domains are passive. Eugena needs me to be active.

So I'm selling them.

This means January might be tight. February might be tighter. But Eugena won't wake up wondering if I stopped building.

Because I didn't. I doubled down.

The Lesson for Other Founders

When you bootstrap for real... you stop thinking about what would be nice to have (passive income streams, side projects) and start thinking about what matters right now (keeping the mission alive).

That clarity is liberating.

Because when you have $0 and no choice... the choice becomes obvious.

You sell what doesn't matter. You protect what does.

Interested in any of these domains? Each has real potential and real value. If you're building something and need premium real estate, let's talk - jawo [at] blogsitefy [dot] com. I'm flexible on pricing and open to negotiation. Because at this point, it's not about maximizing revenue per domain... it's about keeping Blogsitefy alive.
